Making a change to become a better you, mind and body, is much more than just working out and eating healthy. It’s also about implementing little healthy habits and little tiny changes into your everyday life, and those little changes will be the biggest changes in the long run. So, here are a few little things you could do to really help yourself!
Arm & Hammer Fluoride-Free Toothpaste | Arm & Hammer Aluminum-Free Deodorant
Using fluoride-free toothpaste and aluminum-free deodorant!
Although a lot of dentists push for fluoride toothpaste, fluoride is actually harmful to the human body! It can also lead to the calcification of tendons, ligaments, and even your pineal gland which is responsible for dreaming and regulating your internal clock. So, using fluoride-free will still clean your teeth while also reducing the harmful exposure!
I have tried so many natural deodorants and I haven’t found any that actually do a good job of not making me smell, until I found the Arm and Hammer aluminum-free deodorant! Too much aluminum in your body can lead to bone disease and dementia. Aluminum-free deodorants mask body odor and target bacteria, but deodorants with aluminum work as a plug to prevent sweating. Although that may seem ideal, sweat is actually your bodies way of releasing toxins. So, if you use deodorants that keep those toxins locked in, it’s super unhealthy and time to make the change!

Speaking of sweat, sauna!!
I know it isn’t available to everyone and even I struggle to sauna as much as I should. Maybe your local gym has a sauna or a friend? If not, there are cheaper alternatives on Amazon! Regardless, trying to use a sauna every day is so so so healthy for you! You sweat out all those toxins, it improves heart health, blood pressure, helps with muscle recovery, promotes healthier skin, and it lowers your risk of dementia and Alzheimer’s!!

On the opposite side of the spectrum is an Icebath!!
Whether you have your own, your local gym has a cold plunge, or you can fill your bathtub with ice cubes and water! If you are able to ice bathe every day, I would really encourage it! Not only does it improve muscle recovery, reduce inflammation, and support immunity, but it also activates your brown fat which is what helps your body burn calories. On top of all that, it helps your mental health tremendously by resetting the vagus nerve which helps reduce anxiety and depression. Try cold showers if you can’t find a bath!!
Stay away from seed oils!!
This is super hard to do that nowadays considering there are seed oils in almost everything, but I would highly encourage you to try to cut them out completely! Seed oils can impact fertility for both men and females. It contributes heavily to inflammation in the body which can increase your risk of diseases and cancer. Also, stay away from using olive oil to cook things at high temps. At a certain temperature olive oil just turns straight into toxins, at low temps it’s fine, but at high temps, use avocado oil instead!

Do a parasite cleanse!!
Now, this is a commitment but it’s a commitment that’s worth it. Every one has parasites, everyone!! Some more than others, and I truly believe the way I have traveled that I may have parasites more than most. I find it fascinating that most of the rest of the world does a parasite cleanse ss a matter of normal protocol once or twice a year. In America, we don’t even talk about it. It doesn’t hurt us at all just to take a bottle of parasite cleanse once a year! There are no negatives at all. Regardless, there are so many little ways parasites can be effecting your mental and physical health. Some include brain fog, dark circles, weight loss issues, and more! Doing a parasite cleanse for 1 month will help aid all of that, it’s basically giving your body a clean slate!

Use 100% organic pads and tampons!!
This may be TMI, but I use to suffer from chronic UTIs, I’d get them multiple times a month, so bad to the point where I’d go to urgent care buckled over in pain. I’m not saying this is the answer, but I decided to start only using organic pads (I only use tampons when absolutely necessary, but I try to stay away from that as much as possible. No woman should be putting bleach, chemicals, and toxins in or around their reproductive parts!! So, since switching to all organic stuff, I haven’t gotten a UTI!
Stop using Teflon pans and plastic cutting boards!!!
Switch to ceramic or stainless steel pans! When using Teflon pans, the Teflon coatings begin to break down overtime. When that happens it gets absorbed into the food you eat! This can cause major health effects over time. Also, stop using plastic cutting boards! Every time you cut on plastic, you are getting microplastic into the food that you’re putting into your body, even if you don’t see it and that poses a major health hazard!!
Speaking of plastics, stop drinking out of plastic water bottles!!
Buy a glass water bottle and re-use it! I know it’s easier said than done, but if you can make this change it will be so good for you in the long run. With that being said, drink LOTS of water, and if you start your day with a lemon water, it is even better! Our clothes are loaded with plastics. I have a challenge to get rid of the plastics in my body and if I don’t, the health consequences are not good. For now I know I need to make changes. Throwing away all my plastic containers, Tupperware, and avoiding plastic water bottles. Another surpising way to keep plastic out of your body is not wearing brand new clothes without washing them!
